Anke Domscheit-Berg, Member of Parliament and Activist
Anke Domscheit-Berg is a member of Germany’s parliament with the Die Linke party and an activist.
She is one of Germany’s most outspoken voices in the fields of data privacy, open government, algorithm literacy, and women’s rights.
Anke is a co-founder of Government 2.0 Network Germany, which campaigns for transparent governance, and was a supporter of the European Union’s Charter of Fundamental Rights , which was published in late November 2016.
She was also a founding member of FidAR eV, which aims to sustainably increase the proportion of women on the supervisory boards of German companies.
Anke received the Berlin Women’s Prize in 2010.
